ABOUT

   Mitch is a hard-working and motivated broadcaster, reporter, and analyst, with experience in various sports media fields.

   Mitch is a senior Journalism major at Kent State University (as well as a Sport Administration minor), and he works as a play-by-play analyst/color commentator for WJER 1450 AM in Dover, Ohio.

   Mitch has also worked in various student media outlets, including the award-winning TV2 of Kent/Portage County, and The Black Squirrel Radio Network. He has worked as a sports anchor, reporter, and host/co-host of numerous sports-related shows.

   Mitch is from New Philadelphia, Ohio, and is passionate about writing, broadcast media, and digital media. His good communication skills and adaptability allow him to work in any setting, and his extensive knowledge of sports history and statistics sets him apart from the rest. He firmly believes in journalistic integrity and in sharing a story right before sharing a story first.

   Mitch has previous worked as an intern at ESPN 850 WKNR in Cleveland, Ohio; as a public address announcer, scoreboard operator at Strasburg-Franklin High School; and as a television play-by-play analyst, color commentator, and camera operator at Big Time Sports in Dover, Ohio.

   After graduation, Mitch plans to work in broadcast media as a broadcaster/reporter/multi-skilled journalist.
